We are glad to confirm that the EASI Electric Energy Savings and Efficiency System installed by your company in our facility CEDAL ( Corporacion Ecuatoriana de Aluminio S.A. CEDAL), is operating and functioning since March, 2009.
 
We can CERTIFY that all the work performed, such as: Initial Assessment of our facility, the Site Survey, Project Design and Proposal, Pre-installation Survey and Final Installation of the EASI Energy Savings and Efficiency system, have been done professionally and without affecting our operations.
 
The benefits of the system have been proven in the first Savings Verification report, achieving 11.73% monthly savings, an amount that exceeded the proposal savings percentage of 8.23%.
 
Also, our facility’s Power Quality has been improved substantially, especially in the reduction of Harmonics and the increase of our Electric System Capacity, allowing us to obtain an even better cost-benefit.
 
We want to acknowledge the benefits that we have obtained with this technology and wish the best success for the implementation of these systems in other commercial and industrial facilities.

Dear Mr. Rivas:
 
This is to acknowledge our outmost satisfaction with the process, products and results of the Electrical Energy Savings Installation completed in October 2008 by Caribbean Energy Savings, Inc. in our high technology medical devices manufacturing facility in Stryker, P. R.
 
The installation included lighting retrofit of the manufacturing and warehousing areas, installation of EAST products, including easiliners and powerliners in the manufacturing and A/C equipment and optimizers and frigitech in the air conditioning units. Highlights worth mentioning are the following:

1. Illumination levels were improved. With CES, Inc. support, prior to the installation we tried out various luminaries colors and configurations to better fit our needs.
2. Installation was completed with no interruption to our 240 manufacturing process. Supplier was always ready to work on nights, holidays and weekends as required.
3. Work was completed within schedule.
4. Supplier responded to our technical requests proactively, even in situations which were clearly other suppliers responsibilities.
5. Facility Power factor significantly improved from .73 to .94, even though this was not a primary goal of the project. This added 2% extra dollar savings.
6. Environmental commitments of our operation were met.
7. Last but not least, energy reduction goals were surpassed. Our 9% commitment on savings on our 1,436,000 kwh ave. monthly consumption was twofold achieved, using IPMVP option C standards. This is specially remarkable as our cost of energy had also increased during the period.

Needless to say we highly value the achievements and professionalism observed by the supplier during the installation, will consider them for future energy saving endeavors and will be happy to answer any reference calls.
